The selection process may take some time as we take the time to review your application. If your application has been shortlisted, we'll invite you for a brief  Video-Call. The next step is an invitation for an interview face to face.

The  interview is about getting to know each other better. Surely it's an unfamiliar situation and a bit of nervousness is completely normal. But please don't drive yourself mad, it's not an exam scenario and we generally don't conduct aptitude tests with you. For us, it's more important to understand who you are and teh reasonsbehind you application.

Yes, the apprenticeship duration can be shortened in consultation and under certain conditions. The decision depends on your school graduation and/or your current performance. A reduction in study time for dual students is not possible.

The remuneration for training and dual studies at Berghof is based on the industry-specific tariffs of Südwestmetall.

Berghof collaborates with regional vocational schools and universities at its various locations. In Eningen, the current school for commercial professions is Theodor-Heuss-Schule (https://ths-reutlingen.de/), and for technical professions, it is the Ferdinand-von-Steinbeiss-Schule (https://www.steinbeisschule-reutlingen.de/de/home.html), both in Reutlingen; whereas for the dual study arrangement, it's the DHBW in Stuttgart (https://www.dhbw-stuttgart.de/). At the Mühlhausen location, we work with the state vocational school centre "Heinrich Erhardt" in Eisenach (https://berufsschule-erfurt.de/index1.htm), and as a company-wide addition, with the ERFURT Education Centre (https://ebz-verbund.de/)

Yes, a school internship at Berghof is possible upon request. Please let us know which area you'd like to "dip your toe into", which timeframe works for you and whether it's a compulsory internship (e.g. BOGY) or a voluntary one. We will then check if we can offer you your desired internship.
